Psalm 11: 3 If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Matthew 7:24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock
Child pornography and child prostitution is from a destroyed foundation. To raise up a child you must do it in a firm foundation, there must be conditions suitable for the healthy upbringing of a child. However that is not the case with the issue of Child pornography and child prostitution, the case is mostly a broken family or a dysfunctional base.
A child can never be left out to venture for herself, she must be in the hands of an adult until she can be able to decide for her life. Most of the times girls who end up in child prostitution were left to venture on their own and became targets of malicious people who took advantage of the fact that they had no adult to care for them.
These little girls will recall all they wanted was love and someone to genuinely care about them. They were coaxed by the sweet gestures and promises of their abusers because they confused their gesture with love. If they had known the real definition of love at all they would have never fallen for those kinds of traps. However the foundation of a healthy family was broken and a child was left wondering on her own.
Sometimes the ones who put a child into prostitution are the parents, they deceive the girl to believe that they care for them by making her do unimaginable acts. The child willingly submits without protesting because she believes her parents truly are doing the best for her. These people are raising a child in a wrong foundation, they are bringing up a destined child of God in the wrong way.
For a victim of child prostitution all hope is not gone, even if the foundations that brought her up were dysfunctional and broken she can rebuild her life in the new foundation of the truth. The truth being the word of God. It is necessary for this child to be close to a stable environment as much as possible. It is necessary for the word of God to be the foundation of this child. The morals and values she will learn from the Bible will help her, they will be contrary to what she is brought up at home. She will be able to know the truth, not to be naive so as she may not be deceived.
Even if her whole community is messed up, all she sees is the same story. There is always a need of light in darkness. I repeat light will be needed in the presence of darkness. The truth of the word of God in the level a child can interpret is necessary. These will help her to make wise decisions because she will not be a child always. She will grow up and she will need the foundations of what brought her up to hold her through life. If she did not get the right tools for her life she will not be a positive impact to the society, but if something cut through her unsteady roots and planted a solid foundation based on the truth of the word of God she will recover.
Even if this child is later rescued from child pornography and child pornography at the age of adult hood, the right foundation can still be built in this person. First there must be a destruction of the first foundation because it did not match up to the light of God. A honest person is needed to speak into the life of this person with guidance. Since this process does take time and patience to shape this person to who God wanted them to be. For you never know what was hidden beneath and what this child can become.
Its important not to remind the child of the life she lived before but to look forward for what she can become. Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Once the child starts living in the new found truth, the old has gone and she is a black page ready to be written on. Her story has just began, it is exciting what God can do to the life of this person. Since many years have been lost God usually recovers them in a blast. Joel 2:25-32, Job 42;10-17,1 Samuel 1:19.In this new life she must remember it is not of her own but God`s special grace that took her from a wretched life to a wholesome life. Since many may have been left in the life she come out of.
It is also important to address problem of loss. She will feel a sense of loss. Especially loss of a healthy relationship with her parents or the people who raise her. At this stage the child should be introduced to the supreme fatherly love of God. She should be reminded that God cares for her, He loves her and He has never left her, even though her parents never showed her love. She should be constantly reminded that she has never lost love because God had always loved her.
