Isaiah 61:7 Instead of shame, My people will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation, they will rejoice in their share; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs

Dear girl,
Precious girl, daughter of the king. You are loved beyond measure and you are treasured. You are written in the palm of the Almighty God, the Great Supreme creature of the universe. He is bigger than the sky and this whole world put together. He loves you, you are his special daughter and He knows your name.

Even before you were born He knew you. He knew your name and prepared a beautiful and bright future for you. Just the same way parents prepare a beautiful room for their new born child, He prepared your future before you were born. He wanted the best for you.

Today, life has not been all that great. You are a victim of a outrageous crime. You have been raped. You are shuttered inside, you feel lost, you feel betrayed, you feel destroyed, you are angry at the world. You do not see the joy of living, you do not care you live or die. You do not think anyone will care you live or die either.

That is not the truth. I want you to learn a game of the mind. I know you are smart you will understand. If you have seen people play chess you will see there are pieces on two sides of the board. These pieces have different colors. Most of the times the colors are black and white. There are sixteen pieces on each side of the board each black or white.

Place this example in your mind and see the world this way. There are two sides of the world. There is the dark side and there is the light side. In those sides there are different people. In this world just like the game of chess, they get to mix up together on the same board. The white does not stay only with the white and the black only with the black.

The same as life, there are bad people and there are good people. There is the bad side and there is the good side. The bad people will sometimes move around the good people and the good people will find themselves among bad people. This is how life goes on, until the end when God who is light will take his people away to a safer place where there will be no hurt and no pain.

In your mind learn to separate these things. How you feel, what happened, and the reality of life at present. Most of the times victims of rape are stuck in their own minds even though circumstances may have changed. You mind may not be suggesting right things to you. It is important to understand your mind as a separate entity, your emotions as a separate entity and the situation at present as a separate entity. Do not be captured in your mind and be a prisoner.

The first and biggest step to take is exposure. When you stay looked up within your own mind it is possible to drown in it. First stop isolating yourself and get out. Be involved in a community of survivors and you will see that you are not alone. There are so many strong girls like you. You will realize the strength you have and the major step you took to be positive.

Returning back to God, why did God allow this all to happen to you? I have no answer, but I can say when Jesus was suffering and dying on the cross God was silent. Jesus cried out "Eloi! Eloi! why have you forsaken me?" God did not answer back and say ' You are my beloved son with whom I am proud of.' He was silent. Jesus did not hear Him. God may sometimes not tell us the reason of our suffering but just like Jesus the cross could not hold Him any more, the grave could not hold Him anymore. He resurrected, and by His death and Resurrection He won over the power of death, the grave and sheol(hell) forever.

He rose to heaven and God exhaulted Him above all powers. He was given the honor sit at the right hand of God where He rules forever. He is forever victorious and forever a Champion. The stripes and the cross are His past. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 2:"4 But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved! 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus."

When the devil thought he had finished Jesus; he had killed him and there was no longer alive, God brought Him out from the death. I sometimes believe why God did not reveal the mystery of why Jesus had to endure all the suffering and death was so as the devil will not know the victorious power that came after it.

If the devil knew that by crucifying Jesus it was going to unleash the greatest movement in life, and give Jesus the greatest crown of victory in heaven he would have never allowed Jesus to die. 1 Corinth 2; 7 "No, we speak of the mysterious and hidden wisdom of God, which He destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it. For if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." My sister, sometimes we have no answer to life`s greatest question. WHY?. We can only know that great suffering bared with grace is equal to greater glory.

You can turn your tragedy to a testimony. The fact that God let you see the light of today, is that; He knows you have the strength to survive another day. You are already victorious, you are already a champion. I want you to know that you will recover. As long as there is life there is hope. You will be alright. You will eventually forgive and you will eventually start your new life and you will find a reason to smile again. You will turn out an overcomer.
